Sometimes after all the hikes and all the excitement it eventually catches up with you. Oh and having a 7 year old daughter that brings home a bunch of elementary school germs so that doesn’t help either. If you haven’t guessed, I’m sick… head cold sick with the works… boogies, cough the sneezing ick. But that doesn’t matter, I’m a mom, a wife and a dog mom. Dante and Sheba my older dog children don’t demand as much physical attention even when I am Sick. But Goose! Oh my silly Goose, he needs attention and needs his exercise. How on earth do we accomplish this when i have no business hiking, biking, or going on walks.

Frisbee! Thank goodness for the flat plastic plate of a toy! A few minutes of Frisbee and he is fulfilled! I throw in some tricks and some commands as well to keep his mind thinking. Thank goodness this makes him happy.

Now i’m going to go have some coffee and try and get some rest.
