Lost Goldmine Trail 2

Today I had a nice relaxing hike with my main man Goose. We had a late start this morning so we did not get to the trail head till 9 am. We didn’t waist any time and got right to the trail. Goose was rocking his Ruffwear Approach Pack , he had two 32 oz water bottles in his pack this time. That’s why i picked this trail because there is not a big ascend to the top, more like miles then mountains. He started out strong and finished strong. Showing me how in shape this pup is and all those bike rides and evening Frisbee sessions had paid off for his endurance, We stared out at the trail head by the hieroglyphics trail and hiked all the way to Carney springs trail head. 10 miles total it was a great hike with a great view of the Superstition Mountains. We took only a few water breaks and one break before heading back to the trail head. We found a shady spot to sit and relax. It was a nice quiet hike normally this trail has horses and mountain bikers but we only ran in to a handful of people on the way out and not one horse or mountain biker. I would defiantly do this trail again and most likely hike it all the way to Peralta trail head next time.

Remember to get out there with your pup weather it is in your neighborhood or a park. Spending quality time with your best friend is all they want from you.
