Wondercide Review

I think I have found my number one flea and tick repellant for Goose and Dante (and for my family), it is all natural and no chemicals are ever used ever! We went on a week long camping trip up to the Whtie Mountains here in AZ and we camped near Big Lake and the mosquito were out in full force around the lake, we also hiked rough tall grass and bounded through bushes. I’m happy to announce we can home with not one tick or any fleas, so I think I can say so far I am very pleased with how reliable this formula is and it works wonders on Goose and his long fluffy fur which is easy for a tick to cling to, but thanks so Wondercide we don’t have to worry!

Flea and tick spray

This product not only repels fleas and ticks but also repels mosquitoes and flies, by killing adults, eggs, and larva life cycle stages. This product is so safe you can use on pregnant and nursing dogs, safe around children and also you can use every day if needed.

How to apply the flea and tick spray: Shake, Spray and go!

Rub your dogs coat in opposite direction when applying Wondercide mist the body legs, belly and tail to apply to head mist hands and rub ears and head (do not soak your dog with spray) If your dog is sensitive to new products test a small spot on the back of your dog before applying to the whole coat. You can apply to furniture or dog beds as well, it’s not greasy or staining.

I am amazed how well this product works we used it on our camping trips and have not had a tick or flea on our boys, another perk is how well it keeps mosquitoes away which is always very bothersome in the summer months especially when camping and hiking outdoors.

(Real Talk)  I am so glad this product exists and I believe more pet parents should be using all natural products like Wonderside to protect or treat for fleas and ticks on their animals, why? Well, 5 years ago I lost my best buddy Wyatt (border collie x aussie mix) to idiopathic epilepsy the more we talked with vets, neurologists and did a great deal of research the same topics kept coming up… “epilepsy caused by flea, tick or heartworm treatments…” This really had me scratching my head, but this was supposed to be helping my dog but it was really poisoning him. I was slowing killing him and I didn’t know any different cause this is what the vets told me to do, now I’m not going to get into a vet debate but as soon as he started having seizures my vet wanted him off all flea, tick and heartworm medications asap. Yes I do know about MDR1 in Australian Shepherds and he was tested and tested some more, but in the end, epilepsy took his life and I can’t but help think I had contributed to his short life due to the poison I was giving him. Knowing what I know now, Goose has never taken, nor will he ever have a flea and tick treatment, or pill. He is all natural, and I look for only all natural products like Wondercide. I am so happy when you go to Wondercide’s website they have loads of information about the negative side effects of over the counter prescription flea and tick ointment and pills. This short video is a great introduction to what Wonderside stands by and why they exist.

We also had the opportunity to try out two more Wondercide products the flea and tick shampoo bar and the skin tonic itch + allergy.

Skin Tonic Spray

The Skin Tonic spray is for human and dog, how awesome is that and it should make you feel comfortable knowing that it’s safe for you and your dog. Skin tonic spray can help heal and treat a list of different ailments

  • Dry Skin Itching
  • Skin Irritations
  • Hot Spots
  • Rashes
  • Burns
  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
  • Fungal Infections
  • Ringworm
  • Insect Bites
  • Mites
  • Mange

I have actually used the skin tonic spray on a few hot spots Goose got on his paws from a recent trip to the river, I made sure I clipped all the hair between his paws and around the hot spots and cleaned with soap and water and dried completely, I think sprayed the Skin Tonic Spray on his hot spots and had him wear a cone so he could lick. I repeated this 2-3x’s a day and with in 5-7 days, it was completely cleared up. I have also been applying it to Dante’s chest since he is older now he has developed an allergy to Bermuda grass and we have a whole yard full of Bermuda grass and he gets very itchy on his chest to the point where he itch’s his chest raw. It so far has been soothing him and his hair is slowing coming back I have applied this 2/3x’s a day as well. Skin Tonic spray is easy to use shake well and spray generously o the skin. Massage in gently. Skin Tonic Spray may be applied several times a day to soothe irritations. Repeat daily as needed for desired results, safe for you, your dogs & cats, and the environment and 100% biodegradable.

 Flea & Tick Shampoo Bar

I was skeptical with a shampoo bar for dogs I never really used one let alone a flea and tick bar. But I can say I was surprised how well the bar soap worked in comparison with your typical gel shampoo, I was able to control where and how much soap was used and I felt like I wasn’t wasting any as I sometimes drop the gel shampoo on the ground.

  • Safe for dogs and cats of all ages
  • Gently cleans & exfoliates
  • Antibacterial protection helps to prevent infections
  • Deliciously scented to repel insects
  • Natural & organic
  • Radiant skin & coat results
  • No harsh chemicals, alcohol, artificial colors or fragrances
  • Therapeutic-grade essential oils
  • 100% biodegradable: produces no plastic waste!

Gentle enough to use several times a week for cleaning dry itchy skin and to protect against fleas and ticks. This shampoo bar made with Citronella & Geranium oil is safe for you, your pack and the environment!

Shampoo bars are much easier to use than liquid shampoo (think luxurious lather and one hand use!) and they last much longer, too. For a relaxing bath time, simply wet your pet, hold the bar in your hand, then rub it onto his or her belly, neck and feet. Lather the coat and rinse. For greater repelling effects and to comfort hot spots and insect bites, lather the coat and massage for a few minutes, then rinse.

Ingredients used in the Shampoo bar is Coconut oil, palm oil, shea butter, castor oil, citronella oil, geranium oil, Aloe vera, vitamin E, honey
