Get squeaky clean with CocoClean – Review and Giveaway

When the weather starts cooling off baths become less frequent and I am always looking for a shampoo that will clean my pups good but also make them smell nice longer then one day, especially with the holidays around the corner too. CocoClean is a collection of shampoos, conditioners, and brush sprays that are soap-free, sulfate free, paraben free and infused with coconut oil.

The Benefits of coconut oil

  • helps promote a healthy and soft coat.
  • relieves any dry, itchy, flaky & irritated skin.
  • reduces protein loss and strengthens hair.
  • stronger, healthier protective skin barrier.
  • all natural refreshing deodorizer.

There are many benefits of using coconut oil on a dogs coat, but I didnt expect to see such a huge imporment on Gooses coat after two baths. His coat stayed super soft and and he smelled so nice, I loved that when giving him his bath I knew I wasn’t stripping all the healthy oils off his coat and fur but actually helping him.

We got to try out two shampoos and a Brush spray, the Calming Shampoo is a gentle shampoo but it features natural lavender and lemon balm for a calming effect, to make bath time more pleasant Goose and I both loved the smell. CocoClean can be used on all coat types for a thorough wash.

The De-Shed Shampoo has come in handy as Goose is also blowing his summer coat and getting ready for winter CocoClean has developed a custom formulation that reduces excessive shedding, while maintaining a clean and healthy coat. The De-Shed shampoo features a beautiful signature fragrance of violet + sea mist.

I am crazy for the CocoClean Brush Spray, we got the spray in the scent lavender + lemon balm, as lavender is one of my favorite smells. In order to prevent hair damage, it’s important to never brush a dry coat, and Brush spray also helps reduce shedding, static and maintains a silky, healthy coat that stays cleaner, longer.  Brush Spray is still blended with coconut oil to help improve overall skin and coat condition.  Also features ExtenScent, a natural odor-neutralizing complex that extends freshness and keeps dogs smelling better, longer.

  1. I’ve been reading a lot about coconut oil and the benefits to our pups. Love the look of these products, the natural ingredients, and with Jack’s sensitive skin sounds like they’re perfect for him.

  2. Gorgeous dog. I love putting coconut oil on my Aussie during the spring when allergies seem to effect her but it always weighs her coat down and she looks oily…..these products look great.

  3. I already use coconut oil on Xena’ fur and paws. It does wonders and smells sooooo good! So this shampoo package sounds awesome to me! Fingers crossed! 🙂

  4. I would love for my pooch to smell like coconuts. I like that this helps with itchy skin. 🙂 Thank you for the chance!

  5. My Aussie-dog Hank is usually out rustling around dirt, cows, horses, goats, and always right in the middle of the action. Needless to say, as he is generally afforded indoor dog life luxuries such as snuggling on a bed, couch, and sometimes even in nice cars, he gets baths often!

Hank looks tough, but he suffers from various allergies and skin sensitivities and I’m currently on the look out for a shampoo that smells fantastic, and is just as gentle on him and his sensitive skin as the products I use on myself, which often include moisturizing elements like coconut oil. I’m done with harsh chemicals on all of my pets, horses included! Excited to try some CoCoClean! (You can check out Hank’s adventures on Instagram or Twitter, @Hankahoula)

  6. Coconut oil is great stuff! This sounds like a wonderful shampoo for dogs. I can only imagine how good it smells too! I love the photo of Goose all covered in suds. He is such a cutie pie. 🙂

  7. Oh, these sound wonderful! I’m a huge fan of coconut oil. I was just saying the other day that I need a good brush spray for our Siberian Huskies, and CocoClean sounds wonderful! Lavendar and Lemon Balm…marvelous! Would love to try!

  8. Lavender is my favorite smell too 🙂 These sound amazing! I’d really love to try the Calming Shampoo on my 2 dogs who dislike bath time.
